Lairig an Laoigh
A Popular and historic route used to access to Bynack More and the Loch A’an Basin and like the Lairig Ghru, links Speyside with Deeside.
Work was carried out in 2011 & 12 which included the 4-5km of path at the start being machine built. 2014 sees us heading deeper into the Cairngorms and carrying out path repairs including installing cross drains and waterbars and using ‘light touch techniques’ further in.
Upland Access Ltd will be the contractors for this section and they will be making use of our Remote Accommodation System which will be flown in at the end of May.
